Challenging targets for renewable energy in new homes has resulted in many UK house builders looking at solar as part of their strategy to meet such targets. In order to maximize the benefit from solar, our systems are purpose designed to suit the specific application. Solar panels and hot water storage cylinders are sized to meet the requirements and orientation of the property. Panels can be built into the roof at the tiling stage, reducing the impact of the panels, the appearance is simular to a large velux window.

By choosing Solar water heating a significant cost saving can be achieved over retrofitting, as the house will need a water cylinder anyway. For new build we always specify an unvented (mains pressure) twin coil solar water cylinder. This will provide powerful showers and fast filling baths, along with the benefits of reduced cost of first and second fix plumbing and no water tank or pipework in the cold loft space.
